Chapter Explanation (पाठ की व्याख्या)
The chapter “The King and the Spider” is based on the famous story of King Robert Bruce of Scotland. The King was brave, wise, and kind. His people loved him. However, when a neighboring king attacked his country, he lost the battle. His soldiers were either killed or ran away, and he was forced to hide in a cave.
While sitting in the cave, he was full of sadness and hopelessness. One day, he noticed a spider trying to climb the wall of the cave. The spider climbed a little but fell down. It tried again and failed, but did not give up. The spider kept on trying again and again. After several failures, it finally succeeded in reaching the top.
The King was inspired by the spider’s determination. He thought, “If a small insect can succeed by trying again, why can’t I?” Filled with courage, he gathered his soldiers again and fought bravely. After many days of fighting, the King finally won the battle.

मकड़ी को देखकर राजा ने सोचा – “जब एक छोटा सा कीड़ा बार-बार कोशिश करके सफल हो सकता है, तो मैं क्यों नहीं?” इससे राजा ने आत्मविश्वास प्राप्त किया, अपने सैनिकों को इकट्ठा किया और दुश्मन से फिर युद्ध किया। कई दिनों की लड़ाई के बाद अंततः उसने दुश्मन को हरा दिया।
